Our big girl, Annie!

It is so hard to believe that my baby is almost 1 year old, already. I know we have most of this month still, but the way the last months have flown, I know this one will, too. She is such a happy baby and loves to play with her sister. She is very much a Momma's girl but loves her daddy, too! As far as her size goes, she continues to grow above the charts. Her sister did the same, but within the past few months, Annie past up Aubrey in length at the same age. Aubrey's weight was more though. Annie is jabbering quite a bit and will say a few words that are understandable. Those include: Mama, Dada, Baba and most recently, Gama (for Grandma). She started walking at just 10 months. We were at my parents house and she took her first steps for my mom...I wasn't there to see them! After coming home, she didn't walk much at all, but within about 2 weeks she decided to try again. She does very well and will walk just about everywhere now. I put shoes on her for the first time on Christmas Eve. I knew we would be with my family at my cousins restaurant and she would want to be down a lot. She wasn't too thrilled about the new walking surface, but has adjusted well. Her latest change is her car seat. Last night, we decided she was just to big and long (and HEAVY!!) for the baby seat. She seems to like her new ride! These pictures were taken with my phone, so excuse the blur.

Merry Christmas!

Welcome to our house. Come on in!
Unfortunately, not much of this has been going on...
My staircase decorated with Dollar Tree garland!! I liked it. :) (oh, and my little model.)
One of my cute little snowmen.
She just loves having her picture taken!
This made for a great night light in the dining room.

Love this little ladder my mom gave me.
My Willow Tree Nativity given by my in-laws last year. Love it!
For all you Michigan lovers. Aubrey and I got this for Adam last year.
Aubrey's little wooden Christmas tree.

My Mom had this stocking hanging on her mantel a few years ago, and Aubrey would light up every time she saw it (as a baby). So, when it was time for us to head home, she sent it with us. I filled it up with goodies for Aubrey this year. Since I'm so afraid of head injuries caused by stocking holders on fire place mantels (or any head injury!!) I didn't hang them up again this year. Going to wait til Annie is a bit older so no risk of her pulling it off on herself. So, Aubrey's stocking stayed filled right here on this door knob. It had been there all season, but not filled until the night before Christmas, so she didn't even notice anything was different about it.
Above my kitchen cabinets. I love greenery!
This one was hung on a nail on the door. And, the matching one to this one was hung at the top of the steps. Gotta get them up somehow!
My kitchen snow buddy!
Aubrey's snow globe from a couple of years ago. She and Annie both liked it this year.
My table decoration (until I got a CUTE Santa-ish boot floral arrangement from my Mom). I will post a picture of that later.
Aubrey's Christmas tree. Can you tell she (we) likes pink?!
In my Dining Room
Love the red berry wreath I found at Goodwill.

On top of the computer desk.

So, there you have it. Except for my Christmas tree...which I will include in another post.

New Link!!!

I figured out what I did wrong. Here's the new link for the Summer 2011 pics. Enjoy! (Let me know if something is weird...again!)

What do you think?

So, most people say they see Adam when they look at Annie. I am posting these pictures to get your opinion. The picture below of Annie was taken today (she's 7 months old). It's the only one I could find easily where she didn't have a bow on her head. So, ignore me and look at her. :)

This is a pic of me when I was 9 months old.
Comment your opinion!

A beautiful Sunday!

Daddy and Aubrey
My Annie girl!! (7 months old now...)
Aubrey thinks it's cool to swing in Annie's swing every now and then.

I love how this makes Annie look so little!
My baby!
So thankful for my 2 little girls. They are my world!!!

Aubrey with her craft from Library time the other day. She's quite proud of it. She keeps checking to see if any birds have eaten any yet, but they haven't. Maybe we should put it in a bigger tree?

Recent happenings

Love me some piggy toes!Sisterly love....

Making a craft with Daddy (one of her favorite things to do!)
Neither of us knew that Aubrey could draw a smiley face until the other day when she did it. She and Adam were "making crafts" (which means get the art box out and draw with markers, crayons, etc., and maybe get to use glue and scissors.) and on either side of Adam's parrot she had drawn a smiley face! (You have to look sideways...)
Me and my big girl!Makin silly faces with Daddy
At the Cleveland Zoo. My camera batteries were dead, so we only got a couple of pictures.
Can't believe my baby is 4 months old today.
Two peas in a pod.
