We have been blessed with an abundance of campus kids. Every summer, they block off one section of the parking lot so the kids can ride their bikes, scooters, roller blades, etc., there. Aubrey and Annie have loved playing with their friends at the parking lot. We decided this year, to have a little "parking lot party" so the kids could have one last hurrah before the students came back (taking our parking lot play area). I think everyone was able to come that beautiful day, and they had a great time. We served popsicles, cookies, rice crispy treats and drinks.
Here is sweet Emily and her worm. Just seconds before this picture, she had stretched the thing out as far as it would go (I didn't see it, thankfully!! Yuck!!). Her Momma had her take it to their "garden" and leave it be. Wonder if it survived the great stretch?! Haha.
