More Cayman Christmas Celebrations...

For those of you that are interested, I didn't have the time to post pictures of the events leading up to our flight home for Christmas. Here they are now - hope you enjoy!

Brianna and Brenna Rodriguez

For our last "youth" of 2007, we took them Christmas caroling.

Josue and Adam

Josue, Martika, Cori, me, Taylor and Antonia

Taylor, Antonia and Adam being silly...surprise, huh?!

Mr. Craig, Ron and Adam played 3 on 3 with some of the HS guys.
(they won both games, btw...)

Brianna and Taylor

The winners!!

Jane (HS) and Abigail (my class)

This is my class right before we left the Christmas party.

Adam and I are so very thankful for Bro. Malachi and Mrs. Debbie Wilson. They help us each week with our Friday night youth. Bro. Malachi drives the bus for us and Mrs. Debbie helps a ton with the "extras." We took them out to Copperfalls Steakhouse for a 'thank you supper.'

Adam enjoys his cheesecake...I did too!

opening their presents...they were thrilled!

The HS played tug-o-war boys vs. girls. This is a shot of the girls rejoicing their victory!

Fun in the white stuff!

Kaitlynn enjoys eating the snow :)

Boys will be boys!

hahaha - what a sweetie!

Weekend at Elliott's

This past weekend we were able to go to Cincinnati to hang out with my bro and his wife and their son. We helped them move upstairs from the apartment they were living in, and we spent lots of time just hanging with the homies, as it were. We enjoyed going to Costco, LaRosa's, and Penn Station while in Cincinnati. Elliott really warmed up to us as the weekend progressed, and we had a great time being with the fam.

Blizzard of 2008

Do any of you remember the blizzard of 2008? This shot was taken during the beginning stages of the storm, when some of the village people thought it would be fun to sled. If you can make it out, there is a possible Bigfoot sighting in this picture. Turns out he was helping rescue stranded children.

Gregory the Smurf

Something about this picture cracks me up. I think it's the fact that my 6'9" brother-in-law is wearing his hood in such a manner that only part of his face is visible. It was incredibly cold out, and neither of us had coats. I don't think he was enjoying having his picture taken while in such a cold and snowy environment.

Evan got ran over by a reindeer...

We are deeply saddened by the recent event of our dear nephew Evan being run over by a supposed reindeer. His father and brother were horrified to find him lying in the middle of the snow-strewn road, face down, his tiny life squashed.

Adam played a piano duet with one of Mrs. Craig's beginner students, Eric. Eric also is in our youth group. He has only been taking lessons for 3 months, and is already doing an awesome job!

*Adam teaches private trumpet lessons to 4 of the students here at WCA. Only 3 of them performed due to a mouth injury of sorts to Scott Craig.

The World's Greatest Compliment =)

The other day my nephew, Ryan, was in a store and the cashier asked him this question: "What is your favorite thing about Christmas?" He replied, "My aunt and uncle are coming home!" Now, aunts, let me ask you, how would this make you feel? An 8 year old boy...he's amazing. I could have cried! :)
