from soup to sleep

Last night, Aubrey had some real soup for the first time. 7-can soup made with only 6 cans - so good! She's never gotten very sleepy while eating before last night, but the soup zonked her. I grabbed the camera and caught the last couple minutes of it.

Last night Aubrey decided it was a cool thing to pull herself up in her crib. She kept doing it over and over again. Of course, we snapped some pics....

My First Mother's Day...

These are the beautiful roses that "Aubrey got for me!" Daddy takes no credit. =) I'm so proud to be her mommy...she's a great kid!

We are moving next month to the mighty metropolis of Cincinnati, Ohio. Farewell to the reggae, hello to hiphop on the hilltop. I'll be working in Student Recruitment at GBS with my good friend and former roommate, Timmy Makcen. So, if you have been procrastinating with that trip to the Caribbean, you might want to hurry it up. We leave June 15.

Today I celebrate the awesome mother that God has allowed me to have. She has taught me so many valuable lessons throughout my life. Anytime I have needed anything or had questions, she has been there for me. I thank God for who she is to me.
